Join us in this Better Sleep Retreat with focus on individual Body Stress Release session , sound journey therapy, connect to nature.

Join BSR practitioner, Scot and Yoga teacher, Susan, for a weekend to bring you better sleep and deep relaxation. 

Programme Good sleep is foundational for life .
Before arrival you will have been contacted directly by Scot for a confidential 1-1 zoom meeting to answer some simple medical questions. 

Before arrival you will have been contacted by Susan for a 1-1 zoom meeting for some gentle coaching questions relating to your current sleep.  

Friday

Arrive on any Friday afternoon for check in at 14:00 hrs  

Friday afternoon - Your personal Body Stress Release (BSR) treatment with Scot.

Free time to relax and enjoy  your De Kloof  accommodation and the beautiful gardens and pool 

19:00 hrs Dinner - a healthy and hearty dinner created with foods that are helpful for deep rest and sleep

Saturday 
Breakfast at 08:00 -09:00  

09:00 hrs 5km mindful nature walk to the Marloth Nature Reserve led by Scot 

Light Lunch 12.30 

14:00-16:30 hrs  Susan leads you through Gentle Yoga and Yoga Nidra with Sound Bath featuring the big Earth Gong 

Free time 

Dinner 19:00 hrs

It's called Yoga Nidra, a centuries old yogic technique, and it is being used to help people all over the world deal with anxiety , also assisting veteran service people deal with PTSD. 

What exactly is Yoga Nidra?

Imagine entering a deep sleep state with your consciousness still switched on, able to access your subconscious and unconscious. 

This systematic relaxation technique begins from the body and turns it off - inducing TOTAL RELAXATION to all the muscles and nerves,

Then goes to the breath and through that it regulates your central nervous system, changing your brain wave pattern.

When everything is ready, it accesses the mind, first the conscious and then the subconscious and the unconscious

There it finds traumas, negative patterns, limiting beliefs... and it rewires the brain. 

It is a healing treatment.

What to expect :-

Gentle warm up exercises and breathwork 

Then simply lay down on the floor, snuggled in blankets , be comfortable and cozy and listen to the sounds of crystal bowls and the crystal quartzaphone .
